Terrance (Terry) Robert Wells

Terrance Robert (Terry) Wells, 69, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater.

He was born October 7, 1942 in Mauston Wisconsin to Vernon and Harriet Wells. He lived in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Texas. He played college football and enjoyed bulldogging for many years. Terry could do anything from dairy farming to welding to fiberglass technology. His laughter, love, friendship and stories touched so many lives. His loves were working with his hands and conversing with family and friends. Terry was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, Jaycees, and the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his sister Rita Brooks and husband Ray of Redding California, sons; John Wells and wife Terri of Sweetwater, Jasen Wells and wife Whitney of Fredericksburg, TX and Dusty Wells of Sweetwater, daughters; Julie Hall and husband Murray of Sweetwater, Justa Gunn of Sweetwater, Heather Gesin and husband Matt and their daughter Emmy of Sweetwater. He leaves behind the loves of his life: grandchildren Kailee and Kenady Hall, Kassie and Kelly Gunn and Preston Wells. He leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 10 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at McCoy Chapel of Memories in Sweetwater with Pastor Doug Dirks of Grace Lutheran Church in Abilene officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at McCoy Funeral Home, 401 East Third St., Sweetwater, TX .

In lieu of flowers the family requests that one may donate to their favorite charity.
